Second quarter, 20th century, England. Each in heavy brown leather with brass locks and intact leather handles. All hand stitched. The smaller with the initials “J.R.” The second stamped “P.M. Claridge” on the front panel. SIZE: 8″ h x 26″ l x 16″ deep; 9-1/2″ h x 28″ l x 17″ deep. PROVENANCE: From a private Massachusetts collection.
