HANDEL DAFFODIL TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has cone shaped, chipped ice exterior and is reverse painted with subtle yellow daffodils and tall slender green leaves all against a shaded green and blue background. Shade is signed on the interior “Handel 5851” and stamped “U.S. Patent No. 979651”. Shade is also stamped on the metal shade ring “Handel”. Shade rests on a Handel base with 3 legs terminating in acanthus leaf feet on a round metal decorated platform which in turn rests on a larger round metal platform painted to resemble marble. Base has a 3 socket cluster and fleur de lis heat cap. Base is finished in dark brown patina. Unsigned. SIZE: Shade: 18″ dia. Lamp: 24″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent.
