Made of fine brown leather with hinged lid and bottom, glass lined with purple velvet interior and a paper label in the lid bearing patent date “Jan 22 1850/SOUTHBURY, CT.” with the handwritten name “ANN F STILES”. CONDITION: Good. The magnifier is missing, leather covering is dry with some crackling and a small damage in the base. Interior is fine. 4-45214 (25-75)
