CAST IRON AND ZINC GARDEN FOUNTAIN.

Probably manufactured by either Fisk or Mott, New York City, circa 1880. The 6′ ground dish has frog and lily pad motif on rim. The mid-section with round bridgework base with three egrets forming the pedestal supporting a catch basin with foliate design. The fountain is surmounted by a cast zinc figure of young boy holding a large fish, designed with a fountain head in the fish’s mouth (not present). SIZE: 96″ t x 6′ w. (across base). CONDITION: Ground dish with cracks, basin with repairs, the whole with fairly recent paint. 49379-13 (2,500-3,500) – Lot 3248
