*BERETTA 689 EXPRESS OVER UNDER SIDEPLATED BOXLOCK EJECTOR DOUBLE RIFLE WITH SWAROVSKI SCOPE.

SN 69294B. Cal. 30-06. 24″ Mono-bloc bbls are fitted with full length rib, central portion milled away forming quarter rib and front sight base. Quarter rib holds one standing leaf express rear sight and claw scope bases. A gold bead is in front ramp. Left side of top bbl and mono-bloc are engraved “P. Beretta – ITALY” and with caliber. Bottom of mono-bloc is stamped with SN and importers name and address (BSA). Case hardened, low profile, sideplated boxlock action features non-automatic safety and special order dbl triggers. Action and sideplates are engraved with simple scroll and geometric borders, as well as with other flourishes of scroll, with makers name on each lockplate, as well as on bottom of action, which is engraved “EXPRESS”. Blued trigger guard has scroll on bow. Beautifully marbled and nicely flame/ fiddle figured European walnut pistol grip buttstock measures 14-1/2″ over open sided brown Beretta pad, and features right hand cheekpiece, point pattern checkering with line borders at grip, with a vacant silver oval and sling eye matching that on bottom of bottom bbl on toe line. QD swivels are also in place. Matching one piece schnabeled ejector forend has Deeley type release. Swarovski Z6 1 – 6X scope with three post and crosshair reticle, has cast-in Picatinny type rail at bottom fitted with claw mounts. Drop at heel: approx 1-13/16″, drop at comb: approx 1-3/8″. Cast: approx 1/4″ off. Weight with scope: 9 lbs. 8 oz. LOP: 14-1/2″. CONDITION: Excellent, with light handling and assembly marks associated with casual field use. Case hardening shows slight silvering on sharp edges, and considerable loss of orig lacquer. Bores are excellent. Mechanically crisp. Scope is excellent.
