Second half, 20th century, France. This good benchmade example constructed from old timber in the style of an 18th century country farmhouse table. The rectangular three-board top projecting above the conforming frieze, a cutlery drawer fitted at one end raised on square legs joined by cross stretchers at each end. The whole of pegged construction. SIZE: 30″ h x 8’11” l x 37″ w. PROVENANCE: From a private Massachusetts collection. CONDITION: Structurally very good.
