CHINESE EXPORT ETAGERE IN ROSEWOOD.

Mid 19th century, China. (For export to America or Europe). Heavily carved overall with scrolls and flower blossoms, having similarly decorated pierced work panel ends, the top with elaborately carved and pierced crest and side returns. Fitted with a 1/4 round shelf, drawer and carved door. All sitting atop ball and claw feet, with gadrooned base trim. SIZE: 28″ x 11″ x 65″ t. CONDITION: All parts seem to be intact, except for one small carved drop at left of lower compartment, having some minor separation due to shrinkage, overall very good with very good finish. 9-96168 (2,000-3,000) – Lot 3176
