BURNS. THIS IS A SALESMAN’S KIT WHICH INCLUDES DISPLAY SAMPLES OF EACH OF THE 13 DIFFERENT PRODUCTION MODELS PLUS ADDITIONAL STOCK.

Also includes: 2 models of velour lined gift boxes (ten total), extra cardboard boxes with instructions, the display case, a copy of the original brochure & agent’s price list, plus extra caps in various metals, extra needles etc. A copy of the Patent and other information about Samuel Burns are also included. Each holder houses a removable metal storage container that holds 4 additional sizes of hooks. No Display).NOTE: Samuel Henry Burns was born in 1859 in Somersworth, NH and died 1933, Brooklyn, NY. He was a jeweler and owner of the S. H. Burns & Co. and the Holten Printing Company of Brooklyn. He received a US Patent in 1924 for a novel “crochet hook and holder” which he manufactured and sold. It is this patented product that this collection is based on. SIZE: Most boxes are 4-1/2″ l.
