*◊ VERY RARE 1900 BULGARIAN LUGER SN 20001 IN CASE.

SN 20001. Cal. 7.65 Para. 4-3/4″ bbl with non-matching SN on bottom. This gun is SN 20001, possibly the first 1900 Bulgarian made. Most of these guns were later re-barreled to 9mm as probably happened to this gun. This bbl is a proper 1900 Bulgarian bbl SN 20941 (from one of the last 1900 Bulgarians) that returns it to the proper Cal. 7.65 configuration. Bulgarian crest above chamber. DWM scroll on center toggle link. Dished toggles. Cyrillic marked safety. Matching numbered checkered walnut grips. Proper plain wood bottom magazine. In a vintage fitted brown leather Luger case with leather handle and brass lock with a red felt interior. Inside lid has a leather label “La Portena America y Cuchilleria Casa Introductora Fundada en 1857 de Juan Canedo 611 Rivadavia 611 Buenos Aires and Unico Agente de las renombradas Escopetas y Revolveres de P. Webley & Son Birmingham”. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very good. Retains 60% orig blue and 30% orig straw with fading, corrosion, and areas of light pitting overall. Grips are lightly worn with visible wood grain. Bore is sharp with light corrosion. Magazine has chips in bottom. Mechanics are good. Leather on case retains orig color with many dents and some minor scuffs.
