FOUR ALLEGORICAL GARDEN STATUES.

First half, 20th century. The four statues of Putti representing “the four seasons”. Each figure holding representative symbols such as floral bouquet, holly leaves, and grape cluster. Each on a molded socle. All in white paint. SIZE: 26″ h approx. PROVENANCE: From a private Massachusetts collection. CONDITION: One statue with damage and re-attachment of left arm and with some damage to base of socle. Others with chips and minor damage. Painted surfaces worn and peeling.
