WILKINSON METAL OVERLAY TABLE LAMP.

First quarter 20th century. Slender patinated base is cast with rows anthemion leaves. Base is completed with a three socket cluster and Wilkinson locking shade ring. Base supports an octagonal metal overlay pond scene shade backed with striated chartruese panels with bright jade green side skirt panels. Interior of shade has brass bandings anchoring the panels in place. Both shade and base are unsigned. Base is finished with a period contemporary cloth cord. SIZE: Shade is 20-1/2″ dia. Lamp is 23-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Well patinated base is original and untouched. Verdigris on shade frame is a later addition. Sockets are period replacements.
