*EXTRAORDINARY LOT OF TWO MODEL 1936 WALTHER OLYMPIA PISTOLS, ONE WITH DURALUMINUM SLIDE AND TRIGGER FOR 22 SHORT.

1) WALTHER 1936. SN 6268. Cal. 22 LR. 7-1/2″ part rnd bbl with Windage adjustable rear sight and target adjustable front sight. Commercial blue finish overall with crown N proofs and 2 piece checkered walnut target stocks. Slotted for target weights and 10 round capacity. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Exceptional overall condition with very slight finish loss at muzzle and high points of grip spur and leading edges of trigger guard. Grips are exceptional with slight wear on thumb rest and may have been professionally refinished at some earlier point. Bore and mechanics are excellent. C&R 2) WALTHER 1935. SN 9401. Cal. 22 Short. 7-1/2″ bbl with target weight attached. Rare Duraluminum slide marked “Cal. 22 Kurz”. Target adjustable front and rear sights with Eagle N proofs. 10 round magazine is numbered to another gun and may in fact not be a 22 Short magazine. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good overall with blue finish thinning with approximately 70% remaining one bbl and frame. Lightweight slide shows some distress with numerous small abrasions and wear on high points and edges. Bore and mechanics appear to be fine with exception of the undetermined magazine issue.
