*◊ VERY FINE DWM 1902 LUGER CARBINE.

SN 23577. Cal. 7.65 Para. 11-3/4″ bbl with long ramp front sight and 3-position adjustable rear sight. “BUG” proofs and full SN on bottom. “DWM” scroll on center toggle link. Dish toggles. “BU” proofs on toggle assembly and left receiver. Full SN on bottom of tang that attaches to forearm. Orig matching numbered checkered walnut forearm with sling swivel. Checkered walnut grips are unnumbered with proper 6-point star on back. Numbered parts on gun are matching. Grip safety. WWI era military wood bottom mag with numbers that do not match. With a contemporary reproduction checkered walnut stock with plastic buttplate and sling swivel that has been numbered on the lug to match gun. With three wood bottom mags (one of them “GERMANY” export marked), a carbine length cleaning rod/oiler, takedown tool & pin punch, and an empty box of 9mm ammo in a beautiful replica carbine case. Exterior of case is black leather with a linear embossed pattern on top and sides and metal unmarked presentation plaque on center of lid. Interior has fitted maroon velvet with maroon satin lid liner that is gold embossed “DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN / BERLIN / Parabellum Cal. 9 m/m”. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 96% orig blue with light corrosion overall that is pitting in spots, 85% orig straw with corrosion. Grips and forearm have light wear with normal dings and dents, wood grain is still visible. Stock is in near new condition. Bore is worn with light pitting. Mag has small chip on bottom. Three extra mags have normal wear. Accessories in case are excellent, ammo box has oil stains and is coming apart at the edges. Leather on exterior of case appears to have had restoration to excellent condition. Interior has typical wear and oil stains from gun and accessories. Cloth straps to hold lid up are torn as is cloth that covers hinges between interior top and bottom. 49828-105 (20,000-28,000) C&R – Lot 3113
