LATE 19TH CENTURY BURLWOOD WRITING TABLE. Cabriole legs with oak leaf and scroll carved knees and three drawers under a pull out leather writing surface. Setback portion has six drawers, and two doors flanked by two serpentine lift lid letter compartments. Entire piece veneered and banded with burled and figured walnut and mahogany. Dove tailed drawers with oak secondary wood. SIZE: 42″w x 24″d x 36″h. CONDITION: Very good with a fine old re-finish retaining most of its original color and patina. 9-92112 (1,600-2,400)
