SN 84a. Cal. 9 mm. 5″ bbl. Marked “P.38″ SN,”ac/45” on left side of frame. Eagle 359 inspected. Brown Bakelite grips. Matching SN’s on slide, frame, and bbl. This gun is described on p. 258, pictured p. 259 of The P.38 Pistol, Vol. I by Warren Buxton. “P.38” eagle 359 marked magazine has a non-matching SN stamped into the floorplate. Accompanied by a scarce late war pressed cardboard holster. Ink stamp maker’s marking on inside of flap is illegible. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very fine with some light handling marks. Markings are clear. Excellent bore with strong rifling. Excellent working order. Excellent grips.
