ENAMELED PORCELAIN DISH.

China, 20th century. The dish decorated with four roundels containing iron red and gilt characters surrounding a central shou, all done on a yellow ground accented with vines and flowers. Comes with wood stand. SIZE: 8″ dia. PROVENANCE: Estate of a Midwestern Public University Chancellor who died in the late 1930’s. This Chancellor was invited to speak in China in 1930s, and visited Japan and India where he acquired this item. CONDITION: Very good. 49918-1 (600-800) – Lot 3077
