*EXCEEDINGLY SCARCE AND SOUGHT AFTER SPRINGFIELD 1903 MARK I REMINGTON BRIDGEPORT PEDERSEN DEVICE WITH ORIGINAL FORTY ROUND MAGAZINE.

SN 1113684/33174. Cal. 30-06/30CA. Properly marked on receiver band with “SA” flaming bomb “8-19” marked bbl with Remington, Bridgeport, Pedersen device marked “U.S.A. 1918-MARK I” with SN. Stock is sans cartouche and marked “RI” at nose of forend. No orig .30-06 bolt present, only the Pedersen device and it’s “KSM” marked mag. Small “o” visible on the wood just to the rear of the trigger guard and small “h” visible on bottom of bayonet lug. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine, arsenal re-finish with some scrapes and very light pitting visible on the forend cap and bbl band. Bbl, receiver and Pedersen device do not appear to have been re-finished with some high edge wear to a gray patina. Buttplate also exhibits high edge wear to gray metal. Stock exhibits some fairly noticeable handling marks with a couple chips and dings but is still completely serviceable. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Mag finish extremely fine to near excellent with wear at the attachment points. It is exceedingly rare to find one of these rifles in this condition with a mag present, making this a great opportunity for the advanced U.S. Military rifle collector. 50528-1 JWK78 (18,000-28,000) C&R – Lot 3066
