**RARELY FOUND GERMAN MP-41 MACHINE GUN ON ERB REGISTERED TUBE (FULLY TRANSFERABLE).

SN 225E. Cal. 9mm. 10″ bbl. This select fire version of the MP-40 is a miss-matched parts kit on an ERB registered tube. Bbl is Hanel MFG with SN 2480B. Endcap also Hanel MFG with electro-pencil number 342. Bolt is number 2568F in electro-pencil. ERB SN with ERB added eagle over 37 visible at left side of receiver tube forward of mag housing. Stock appears unnumbered. Firing mechanism moves smoothly when operated by hand, this weapon appears fully functional. This is a National Firearms Act item and requires BATF approval prior to transfer. This weapon is fully transferable on an ATF form 3 or form 4. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is good to fine as re-finished with some light pitting on endcap and mag housing with finish thinning in places and a couple spots of light corrosion. Bbl is very attractive and retains lustrous finish with exception of high edge wear thinning to a gray patina. Wooden stock shows moderate handling marks and dings and is complete, un-cracked and serviceable. Bore is shiny and bright with some slight pitting in the grooves. Although MP-40 models abound, this variation is not nearly so common and would make and attractive addition to any WWII machine gun collection. 50726-5 JWK54 (7,500-11,000) – Lot 3025
