SWEET AND CLASSIC LOOKING EARLY STEIFF BEAR WITH BUTTON AND PROVENANCE.

This circa 1910 Steiff bear is 5-ways jointed, firmly stuffed, and made from long curly gold mohair. Bear has exceptionally long arms, long narrow feet, and a pronounced back hump. Has tan colored felt paw pads with four black claws on each paw. With working growler. His beautiful face is detailed with black shoebutton eyes, a trimmed muzzle, and a black hand-embroidered nose and mouth. Bear comes with photo of his original owners and a letter explaining his history. Teddy has his small trailing “F” button and remnants of his white ear tag as his Steiff IDs. SIZE: Overall 24″ t (60cm). Sitting 16-1/2″ t (40cm). PROVENANCE: Chuck & Cathy Steffes Collection. CONDITION: Pinhole on right foot pad and a tiny hole on his left foot pad.
