WINCHESTER HOTCHKISS 2ND MODEL NAVY MUSKET. Cal. 45-70. Standard musket with 28″ round bbl, square base front sight for socket bayonet and windage musket rear sight with usual US, Naval and Springfield inspector marks and Henry Nettelton inspector marks. It has 1-pc walnut stock with two bbl bands and cleaning rod with carbine style buttplate. SN 5221. CONDITION: Excellent. Metal retains most of a fine restored blue, the wrist has a couple of repairs and the stock overall, retains a fine refinish. Bright shiny bore. 4-46654 JR132 (1,500-2,500)
