WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 FLATSIDE LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 40-72. Standard grade rifle with 26″ tapered round bbl, Beaches front sight, modified semi-buckhorn rear sight, uncheckered wood with schnable tipped forearm and straight stock with crescent steel buttplate. SN 2169. CONDITION: Good, plus. Bbl retains a medium silver-blue-brown patina. Receiver retains 40-50% thin original blue. Magazine box and lever about 50% original blue. Wood is sound, has been lightly sanded with no original finish remaining. Worn pitted bore. 4-46540 JR310 (800-1,200)
