SN 241557. Cal. .410 ga. 3″ Chambers. 000 Frame. 26″ Bbls have unmarked concave, matted rib. Bbl flats are stamped with SN, Parker overload proofs, weight, and “Skeet In” “Skeet Out”. Left side of lump is marked “V GRADE 410 GA” “FOR 3″ SHELLS”. Typical Parker action is marked with “MADE IN USA” “ILION, N.Y.”, SN, and “VH” on water table with lightening cuts. Action features non-automatic safety and Parker single selective trigger. Action is engraved in typical “V” style with wiggle borders. “PARKER” is on bottom of action. Trigger guard bow has wiggle borders. SN is at grip. Lightly crotch figured American walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14″ over checkered wood butt. Stock has point pattern checkering with beaded borders at grip. Silver shield on toe line is engraved “J D G”. Matching beavertail ejector forend has typical Parker release. Bore diameter at muzzles: left -.407, right -.407. Wall thickness: left -.040, right -.040. Drop at heel: 2-5/16″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs 0 oz. LOP: 14″. This gun is not listed in PARKER GUN IDENTIFICATION AND SERIALIZATION LEDGER. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, original, as found. Bbls retain over 95% orig blue, with some very light marks, silvered a touch at muzzles. Action retains approx 80% orig case hardening color, vivid on sides, silvering a bit and thinning on bottom, from normal hand wear. Stocks retain 90 – 95% of their orig finish, lightly crazed overall, with several minor marks and pings, a few somewhat deeper, mostly on right side of comb. Checkering is lightly worn. Bores are excellent. Action is tight. Ejectors are strong and in time. Trigger works.
