DOUBLE CASED HAMILTON US NAVY CHRONOMETER WATCH.The works marked “Hamilton Watch Co/Model 22-21 jewels/ADJ. to Temp & 6 POS/Made in USA. This Hamilton watch is known as a deck watch. It has a winding indicator on top of the dial. Serial No. 2F1074. Inside of case marked “Keystone/Base metal/1337970”. The outside of the case engraved “Bureau of Ships/US Navy/N271-1941/Chronometer Watch”. The watch has a fitted small hinged case with open window which itself sets into another felt lined case with mounting holes at flange edges to secure to ship.
