LARGE DRESDEN FIGURE OF A TAILOR RIDING A GOAT.

Early 20th century, German. Fine large example of a TaIlor in 18th century dress with Tricorn hat, yellow jacket with floral sleeves and waistcoat, astride a goat who’s horns are used to carry scissors and iron, on a decorated floral base. Marked with the Dresden stylized “SP” mark, for Sachsische Porzellanmanufaktur, mark used after 1902. SIZE: 12-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Overall good, with losses and restoration to needles and pin cushion on back of goat and evidence of bocage loss on base. 9-96199 (2,600-2,800) – Lot 2330
