Circa late 19th century, Italy. Tri-pod stand on scroll feet with revolving display section, manufactured to hold 4 large lockets, displaying on the front Pietre Dure stone inlay floral decoration. Each locket opens to reveal a window for displaying miniature artwork, 3 of these feature such artwork, including 1 portrait of two finely rendered cherubs, 1 portrait of 2 young girls, and 1 with a finely rendered Renaissance portrait of a Madonna, the 4th without image.
