RARE SCAGEL CLASSIC HUNTER SHEATH KNIFE.

Beautiful Scagel Hunter with 6-7/8″ x 7/8″ slightly upswept drop point hunting knife that has Mr. Scagel’s trademark Kriss stamped on the left side. Hand guard is brass, elliptical in shape, flat on the bottom and scalloped on the top edge. The oversized handle is stacked leather with red synthetic, aluminum & copper spacers and the pommel is crown stag secured with a brass pin. Accompanied by its orig black leather, hand stitched sheath that has reinforcing rivets at the top and toe. It has a thumb strap with nickel plated button. Back of the sheath is marked in gold paint “B.L.F.”. CONDITION: Very good. Blade has surface etching and has been cleaned. Leather washers in the handle have slightly shrunk and show hand wear. Stag pommel has some minor age lines but appears to be completely intact showing moderate wear. Sheath is extremely fine showing only light to moderate wear. 51473-4 JRL (7,500-9,500) – Lot 2306
