MINIATURE FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY CHEST OF DRAWERS. First quarter 19th century, American. This nice apprentice piece with bow front and rosewood crossbanding fitted with two aligned short drawers over three graduated long drawers above the shaped scrolling apron raised on outswept tapering French feet. The chest fitted with original cast brass teardrop hardware. SIZE: 13″ h x 10-3/4″ w x 7-1/2″ d. CONDITION: All feet with professional restoration to veneers, proper right front foot with veneer loss. Otherwise very good with nicely polished surfaces. 9-90141 (1,000-2,000)
