*HIGH QUALITY WILLIAM CASHMORE BOXLOCK 12 GA SHOTGUN.

SN 17780. Cal. 12 ga. 28″ fluid steel bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Chokes Imp Cyl/Full. Full length steel top rib with ivory mid bead and steel front bead. Bbl marked “Wm Cashmore Birmingham, England / Made for Kirkwood Bros Inc. Boston, Mass”. Dbl triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Round knob pistol grip buttstock checkered in two-point pattern with 14-3/8″ LOP over orig lined horn BP and silver shield near toe. Splinter forearm checkered in three-point pattern with Curtis push-button release. Receiver is nicely scroll engraved with blued floorplate and marked “Wm. Cashmore” on sides. Bbls retains nearly all of what appears to be orig finish, with scattered light handling marks. Receiver retains approx 60% orig dark case color. Trigger plate retains around half of its orig blue. Buttstock and forearm are very good and retain most of an older professionally restored finish with scattered handling marks and scratches. Buttstock appears to have slight grain separation through right side and three incipient grain cracks around bottom of trigger guard.
