Large Handel table lamp has metal overlay Hawaiian sunset shade with overlay palm trees decorating the nine bent panels of the lamp. Panels are backed by sunset glass showing shades of orange, brown and green when lit. Shade has a light brown finish on the metal. Signed on interior with applied metal tag “Handel”. Shade rests on a large Art Nouveau base with vertically ribbed body and stem, complete with a three-socket cluster and crescent heat cap, and has a dark brown finish. Base is signed on the underside with impressed block letters “Handel”. SIZE: Shade is 23″ dia. Lamp is 26-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with some wear to finish. Base has had a threaded rod added to hold the base, stem, and socket cluster together. Some minor wear and discoloration to finish. 5-67876 (5,000-7,000) – Lot 2260
