LEADED AND STAINED GLASS WINDOW.

Leaded and stained glass window has two female musicians. A central figure is playing the harp while the woman behind her is playing the flute. All set against a blue and pink striated sky and mottled orange moon. The woman playing the harp has a shawl of light green drapery glass falling off her shoulder while the woman playing the flute has a shawl of white drapery glass. Harp strings are metal rods soldered on top of the leading. The faces, hands and hair of the musicians are painted for detail. Unsigned. SIZE: 38-3/4″ w x 39-1/4″ t. CONDITION: Glass is very good. Some harp strings have come unsoldered and 2 are missing. Window is housed in its original painted wood frame. 5-69503 (800-1,200) – Lot 2245
