Mid 19th century. New England. Depicting an eagle clutching flagpole with American flag holding a banner in beak, “Rallied Around The Flag”, in original polychrome paint with varnish overcoat. The round plaque with beveled edge and 3 batten back. We believe plaque was later used as a table top with attached base. SIZE: 48″ dia.
