HEPPLEWHITE MAHOGANY CORNER SIDEBOARD WITH OVAL INLAID PANELS.

Pennsylvania first quarter 19th century. Fitted with a bowed front having three drawers across the top above two bowed drawers. Having three carved and tapering frontal feet with one tapered foot in the back. Drawers and doors faced with similar oval panels centered with crotch mahogany veneer, banded with satin wood and mahogany having mitered mahogany frames. Secondary wood poplar and yellow pine. The back having framed construction with raised panels. Drawers and doors fitted with Hepplewhite style hardware. Inside the top drawer is original John Walton label dated 1957 SIZE: 37″ h x 31-1/2″ w x 28″ d. CONDITION: Overall very good with replaced brasses and a small amount of professional fill work due to veneer shrinkage. 9-93508 (6,000-9,000) – Lot 2237
