CLASSICAL ADAMS STYLE GILT MIRROR.

Late 18th early 19th century, England. The oval mirror plate within a conforming molded surround flanked by classical floral filled urns beneath S-scrolled leaf tips centering the crest comprised of a Phoenix perched on an urn with belle flower garland. The mirror mounted on a medial shelf with demilune ends with gadrooned edge above the shell carved pendants joined to floral swags. SIZE: Overall 37″ t x 19″ w. CONDITION: The back of the mirror frame with vertical later bracing, with areas of professional plaster restoration and with areas of re-gilding.
