Massachusetts or possibly Portsmouth, NH, circa 1815. Typical fold over games table with outset ovolo corners and swell front apron at front and sides. Inlaid with bird’s eye maple at center tablet and on upper portions of front legs. The lower edge of frame and over leaf edge inlaid with thumb print composed inlay. The legs reeded in typical Sheraton fashion with ring turnings at apron and base ending in spiked feet. SIZE: 29″ h x 36″ w x 17-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Good overall, with age check to lower leaf of table top and repair to small break at hinge of lower leaf. With old refinish and good color. 51376-15 (4,000-6,000) – Lot 2227
