FINE & RARE VERDIGRIS COPPER TOBACCO LEAF WEATHERVANE WITH ORIGINAL MOUNTING BASE. Last quarter 19th Century. Retaining wonderful verdigris surface. Mounting base displaying stylized tobacco elements and featuring tobacco buds rendered in iron and copper. SIZE: Overall: 109″ T – Leaf: 48″ L x 14″ W. PROVENANCE: From West Virginia. CONDITION: Very good. Leaf showing signs of being resoldered at one time. Base appears very good, one bud showing solder repair.
