LONDON COLT MODEL 1851 NAVY REVOLVER. SN 94466, matching including wedge. Cal. .36, 7-1/2″ oct. bbl. Four screw variety, cut for shoulder stock, marked “-ADDRESS COL.COLT LONDON-” on top of bbl. The “COLT / PATENT” marking on the left side of the frame is faint. CONDITION: Hammer and lever have had heat applied. Balance of the metal is a brown patina with signs of cleaning and light to moderate pitting remain. No British proof marks are visible on bbl or cylinder. Some screws have been replaced. Wedge spring is missing. Backstrap and trigger guard retain about 80% of the silver. Grips are worn and have been lightly sanded and re-varnished. 4-46334 FS102 (1,000-2,000)
