SN 8063. Cal. 22RF. 3″ bbl cluster. Blue finish. 2-pc ivory grips. Top of bbl shows 2-line Remington address and Elliot patent marks. SN is stamped on the inside of the frame and on the bottom of the bbl cluster. Bbl lug shows inspector initial “M”. PROVENANCE: Bruce Burtner Collection. Bbl cluster retains 80-90% bright blue finish with some flaking and high point wear. Bbl markings are sharp. Bores are bright with strong rifling and a couple of slight stains. Frame is a gray brown patina overall with generous traces of blue finish. Ring trigger is a silver gray patina. Actuating rod shows considerable fire blue.
