*PERAZZI MX 8 DOUBLE TRAP CUSTOM ENGRAVED AND RELIEF GOLD INLAID WITH WESTERN THEME WITH EXTRA SINGLE TRAP BARREL.

SN 41950. Cal. 12 GA 2-3/4″ Chambers. 32″ OU bbls with elevated ventilated rib and ventilated side ribs are gold inlaid “MX8” on mono-bloc, and have Ithaca Gun Company name and address along with Perazzi information stamped on mono-bloc. 34″ Single trap bbl with raised ventilated rib has same markings, and is fitted with interchangeable choke tubes. Coin finished action with removable trigger/ firing group features non-automatic safety and sgl non-selective trigger. Action is engraved with various sized scroll transitioning to relief engraved floral designs surrounding gold inlaid classic western US scenes with major figures raised in relief gold; left side portrays American Indian hunter on horseback firing his bow into galloping bison. Right side depicts American Indian warrior astride his horse with chief’s head dress invoking the Great Spirit. Backgrounds of both scenes are of typical western landscapes with buttes and mountains. Bottom of action features classic portrait of Cochise in beaded background. Trigger guard bow has vacant inlaid silver oval. This engraving is well done. No signature found. Nicely streaked European walnut steel capped pistol grip buttstock measures 15″ over brown KICKEEZ pad. Custom point pattern checkering has V-shaped open field through pattern at grip. Each bbl set has its dedicated forearm. OU bbls have short beavertail type, and sgl bbl has longer and wider beavertail. OU BBLS: Bore diameter: top -.731, bottom -.734. Bore restrictions: top -.019 (mod), bottom -.018 (mod). Drop at heel: 1-5/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 8 lbs 4 oz. LOP: 15″. SGL BBL: Bore restrictions: screw choke. Drop at heel: 1-9/16″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 8 lbs 10 oz. LOP: 15″. Brown leather case is lined in red patterned velvet and has brown leather Perazzi label in lid. Case has space for action and both sets of bbls, and contains spare firing group and two choke tubes for sgl bbl (one in gun). CONDITION: Excellent, as custom finished. Bbls have slight silvering on high edges. Coin finish of action is still bright. Stocks have a few minor marks in their rubbed oil finish. Bores are excellent. Mechanically excellent.
