*BERETTA 450 EELL SIDELOCK EJECTOR GAME GUN WITH EXTRA BARRELS AND CASE.

SN C71757. Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 28″ (marked for mod and full) and 26″ (marked for cyl and improved cyl) Mono-bloc bbls are gold inlaid “I” and “II” on rear portions of raised, matted game ribs, and are also stamped “1” and “2” on loops. Tops of left bbls are marked “BOEHLER * ANTINIT STEEL” “P. BERETTA – Gardone V.T.” Bbl flats are stamped with 1967 Italian nitro proofs, SNs, and Beretta markings. Coin finished sidelock action features non-automatic safety, bushed strikers, hidden third fastener, raised rib tumbler end cocking indicators, and single non-selective trigger. Action is engraved with near full coverage combination medium scroll with sprays of flowers through pattern, large scroll and flowers on fences, and with arched device on bottom of action engraved “BERETTA GARDONE VT” “ITALY”. Top lever and trigger guard with matching engraving, are blued. Finely marbled and nicely fiddle figured flesh-toned European walnut pistol grip buttstock measures 14-1/4″ over fully checkered wood butt. Point pattern with single line borders is at grip. A gold oval on toe line is engraved “D.P”. Matching beavertail ejector forend has Anson type release. 28″ BBL set no. “1”: Bore diameter: left -.726, right -.723. Bore restrictions: left -.030 (full), right -.014 (mod). Wall thickness: left -.034, right -.037. Drop at heel: 2-3/4″, drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 7 lbs 2 oz. LOP: 14-1/4″. 26″ BBL set no. “2”: Bore diameter: left -.721, right -.728. Bore restrictions: left -.012 (lt mod), right -.000 (cyl). Wall thickness: left -.032, right -.037. Drop at heel: 2-11/16″, drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 7 lbs 2 oz. LOP: 14-1/4″. Nicely made walnut and leather case with brass corners and rectangular central plaque has tan leather outer cover with trim, and snap closure. Case is lined in green velvet and has makers label in upper left corner. Case with space for action and both sets of bbls, contains 3-pc walnut and brass cleaning rod marked “Made in England”, pair of A&F snap caps, and proof certificate. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining all of what appears to be orig finishes on wood and metal, with some light marks on bbls. Coin finish of action is excellent. Top lever thumbpiece and sides of trigger guard are silvered. Stocks are also excellent with only a very few light handling marks. Bores are excellent. Mechanically crisp. Case leather is excellent with some chips and marks, as protected by its outer cover which has some staining and rubs. Handle and straps are fine. Handle beginning to detach.
