SCOTTISH INLAID TALL CLOCK.

Early 19th century Scotland. Having a fine mahogany case with broken arch pediment, above tombstone shaped door having half spindles and full spindle corner, on a narrower center section with rectangular door having scalloped top and half spindle columns sitting atop a wider base bracket base. All over and banded and inlaid with satin wood and ebony trim. The brass movement with scenic painted iron face fitted with moon phase dial, second hand and date dial. The movement driven by two weights and having domed bell chime. SIZE: 91″ tall. CONDITION: Case very good. The dial with minor paint loss in the moon phase and hand missing from calendar dial. 7-70689 (1,000-1,500) – Lot 2120
