MAHOGANY QUEEN ANNE CARD TABLE.

Mid 18th century, England, having a fine mahogany flip top with elaborate protruding rounded and shaped corners, when opened reveals leather playing surface with carved recessed trays for drinks and game pieces. Flip lid supported with swing out leg, the scalloped apron conforming to the shape of the top. The boldly carved cabriole legs terminating in stockinged drake feet. SIZE: 29″ h x 34″ l x 17″ d. CONDITION: Very good old refinish, evidence of kerf sawing under stop apparently to restore warped surface. 9-94189 (900-1,200) – Lot 2114
