TIGER MAPLE, CHERRY AND MAHOGANY HEPPLEWHITE SERVER.

Last quarter 18th century. New England. This fine server has a cherry case, and the face is banded with mahogany veneer, having 3 shallow drawers above 2 deep bottle drawers centered by 2 doors above 2 long drawers. All faced with well figured tiger maple panels, framed with figured mahogany banding, the doors with oval crotch mahogany panels, having satinwood banding. All above a base with French feet in the front and straight feet in the back, and with a elaborate scalloped apron, white pine secondary wood. SIZE: 20″ x 41″ x 41″ h.
