NEW ENGLAND HEPPLEWHITE TWO PART SECRETARY.

Early 19th century. Constructed in two parts of mahogany having a scrolling arch top with plinth and finial center and ends above 2 multi-light doors fitted with a row of 3 small drawers. The base having a flip lid with 2 pull out supports above 3 drawers atop a scrolling base with straight tapering legs having a slight outward curve near the base. Inside the lid fitted with blue velvet writing surface and an inset for inkwells and pens. SIZE: 19″ x 37-1/2″ x 73″ h.
