*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE.

SN 864135. Cal. 30 W.C.F. 20″ rnd bbl. Full magazine. Saddle ring attached. Blue finish. Straight grain American walnut stocks with carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain 80% blue finish that is drifting to a plum brown patine toward the muzzle with some slight stains and a few scratches. Bbl bands retain 80% blue with some staining. Sights are very good. Bbl markings are sharp. Bore is frosty with strong rifling. Receiver retains 90% blue with some scratches and handling marks and high point wear. Bolt shows 90% blue. Hammer and lever retain a considerable amount of blue drifting to a plum brown patina. Stocks are very good, full sized and show minor handling marks and dents overall. Buttplate retains 50% blue with wear on the heel and toe. A nice example of an 1894 Winchester carbine made in 1919. 51724-4 TEP (2,200-2,500) C&R – Lot 2088
