*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 RIFLE.

SN 345539. Cal. .38-55. 26″ oct bbl, full mag, blue finish, straight grained American walnut stocks with crescent butt. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and mag tube show a smooth plum/brown patina overall with a considerable amount of blue in protected areas. Sights are very good. Bbl marks are sharp. Bore is frosty with visible rifling. Receiver shows a smooth plum/brown patina overall with traces of blue in protected areas. Hammer and lever are both plum/brown patina with traces of blue. Tang marking is sharp. Tang screw is a replacement. Stocks are very good, full sized, and show nearly all the varnish finish with handling marks overall. Buttplate and forend cap have a plum/brown patina with generous traces of blue. A very nice 1894 rifle in a very desirable cal. 51379-21 TEP (2,500-3,250) C&R – Lot 2085
