Late 18th-early 19th century, possibly Pennsylvania. The figured decagonal top joined to the turned urn-form standard raised on a tripod cabriole leg base terminating in snake feet. SIZE: 26-1/2″ h x 18-1/2″ dia overall. PROVENANCE: From a fine private Long Island, NY collection. CONDITION: With old clean and polished surfaces. A top edge with old shrinkage crack now stabilized with imbedded finish nails. Additionally, old filled knot hole. One foot repaired at ankle.
