QUEEN ANNE TIGER MAPLE DRESSING TABLE.

Third quarter 18th century, probably Massachusetts. The rectangular top with molded edge and notched corners projecting above the conforming case fitted with a single long drawer above three short drawers, all with thumb-molded edges and original etched brasses above the shaped apron with three arches alternating with turned drop finials raised on cabriole legs with scroll returns terminating in round platform pad feet. SIZE: 29″ h x 29″ w (case) x 34-1/2″ w (overall) x 18″ d. PROVENANCE: Leland Little Auctions, Hillsboro, NC. From a fine private Long Island, NY collection. CONDITION: Cleaned with highly polished surfaces of a medium honey color with no visible restoration. Original glue blocks remain intact. Structurally very good. 9-93344 (3,000-4,000) – Lot 2077
