*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE.

SN 821004. Cal. .44 WCF. 20″ bbl with full mag, blue finish, saddle ring attached, carbine sights with silver front bead, straight grained American walnut stocks with carbine butt. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl and mag tube show 70-80% orig blue finish drifting to plum/brown mostly towards the muzzle. Mag is stained on the bottom, front bbl band has slight stain on left side. Markings are sharp and clear. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver retains 80-90% blue finish with some minor flaking. Tang markings are sharp and clear. Bolt shows some flaking. Loading gate shows considerable fire blue. Hammer and lever retain generous traces of orig blue. Stocks are very good, slightly undersized and show slight handling marks overall. Buttplate retains 80% blue with wear on the heel and toe. Bbl band shows 80% blue. A very fine ’92 SRC in a desireable cal. 51433-7 (8,000-12,000) C&R – Lot 2072
