FINE QUEEN ANNE WALNUT DRESSING TABLE.

Third quarter 18th century, probably Boston, Massachusetts. The rectangular top with molded edge and notched corners projecting above the conforming case fitted with a pair of aligned short drawers above three deep drawers, the center with relief fan carving, additionally fitted with a concealed document drawer at rear. All above a triple arched apron alternating with pendant acorn finials raised on delicate cabriole legs with shaped returns raised on pronounced platform pad feet. The dressing table with set of original pierced brass hardware. SIZE: 30″ h x 29-1/2″ w (case) x 34-1/4 w (overall) x 20-1/4″ d. PROVENANCE: From a fine private Long Island, NY collection. CONDITION: Structurally very good, no restoration noted. Retains old if not original polished surfaces with good color and patina. 9-93335 (1,200-1,800) – Lot 2068
