DAUM WHEEL CARVED CROCUS VASE.

Daum vase has padded and wheel carved crocus surrounding the body of the vase. It is further decorated with acid carved leaves and stems in dark green extending from the bulbous foot. Crocus flowers are set against a mottled background of yellow shading to purple and the background is further decorated with martele wheel carving. Signed on the side in cameo “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 12″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. There is a slight color skip on the stem of the purple crocus which is from the making and not damage. 5-68951 (8,000-12,000) – Lot 2064
